International Employee Assistance Program Services
Leidos offers an International Employee Assistance Program (IEAP) that features a continuum of support services to global companies. We leverage a global provider network to respond to diverse issues impacting the workplace. With offices around the globe, Leidos's understanding and knowledge of the unique needs of expatriates and host national employees is reflected in every aspect of our services.

Overview
Leidos has been delivering IEAP services to global companies since 1995. Our offerings include, pre-assignment assessments, orientations, status check calls, repatriation services, training, IEAP counseling, crisis intervention and response to critical incidents. In addition, our key providers possess specialties in substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder treatment and critical incident stress management.

Expatriate Services
Leidos expatriate services help to assure a smooth transition for employees and their families before, during and after their global assignment. Employers benefit from well adjusted employees who integrate successfully into the local culture and are able to focus on their jobs.
- Pre-assignment assessment
- Assesses risk by identifying key employee issues and developing a "support plan" for global assignees

IEAP Direct Counseling Services
This program features counseling and crisis intervention support. Our clients realize that expatriate employees and their families can be overwhelmed by living and working in a new culture. Having someone to talk to about their experience helps to ease the transition. In addition, we provide counseling to expatriate and host national employees on personal issues that impact their work performance.
Leidos crisis intervention support services enable providers to respond immediately when a crisis happens - whether personal or work related. Our team actively helps to stabilize the crisis and minimize risk to the employee, family members and the company. We provide the following services:
IEAP Counseling
- Three, six or eight sessions of counseling for expatriates and host nationals
- Provider monitoring or follow up until problem is mitigated or resolved
Crisis Intervention
- Provider responds to a crisis situation within 24 hours to stabilize the crisis or refer the individual to a higher level of care as clinically appropriate
Management and Human Resources Consultation
Leidos management consultants work with client management and human resources to design and implement an appropriate IEAP program. We then work with these organizations to prepare them to identify, address and solve the kind of issues their leadership may encounter when executing the program. Some of these issues we address include:
- What the IEAP does and does not cover
- Provide consultation on specific IEAP issues within the limits of confidentiality
Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM)
Leidos CISM services offer organizations the ability to provide an integrated, comprehensive response to a traumatic event (natural or man-made)
- CISM preparation and training at work sites
- Includes development of a crisis response plan
- Coordination and/or delivery of CISM services upon notification of an event
- Consultation on incident scope
- Response plan execution, including deployment of the CISM team within 72 hours
- After action reporting

- Hong Kong: Evacuation to Hong Kong after Kobe earthquake
- Indonesia: Evacuation from Jakarta after civil unrest
- Jamaica: Employee burned in factory
- Japan: Kobe earthquake support
- Peru: FORTUNE 500® General Manager carjacked and held hostage
- Taiwan: Helicopter crash on oil rig and a murder on a compound
- Saudi Arabia: Khobar Towers bombing
