Life Sciences

Using information-based solutions to drive innovation, discovery, and a precision approach to medicine.

Leidos's scientific community is developing solutions to expedite the discovery and safe development of medical treatments and scientific advances. We employ a broad range of scientific professionals working on important research in areas such as cancer, vaccine development, and the global risk from infectious diseases.

We offer decades of success serving federal and commercial customers throughout the biomedical product development life cycle, with services ranging from basic and translational research, to regulatory approval of drug, biologics, and therapeutic devices. We apply our knowledge of systems integration and national health and clinical standards to link our customers' information systems, enabling them to share clinical and research data securely to facilitate discovery.

Our doctoral-level scientists and physicians assist in the development of new medical technologies to support the needs of soldiers in military operational environments. They also study psychological health to help identify new treatments for traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorders to help improve the quality of life for service personnel and their families.
