Grant Management/eGrATIS

Facilitating improved tracking and monitoring of grants and enhanced analysis of grant outcomes and effectiveness.

Complete program management: accelerating research and development while assuring accountability and transparency

Leidos provides program management support for federal research funding organizations, individual research programs, and other research-focused initiatives. We offer a unique blend of grants domain and technical expertise that accelerate the research and development process, improve collaboration, and reduce management timelines to ensure that research dollars are allocated more quickly.

Leidos provides expert assistance in the analysis of infrastructure issues, business processes, internal and external policies, and organizational designs. We develop tools for evaluation (for example, surveys, focus groups, gap analyses, virtual review meetings, and databases) that build cornerstones for assigning metrics and benchmarks that can be analyzed and reported for strategic planning purposes.

In addition, Leidos combines graphics and media experts with scientific personnel to provide customers with outreach materials and publications across print, exhibit, and video media, to develop compelling content for interview scripts, Web postings, and print materials that successfully draw investigators into new programmatic initiatives.

Electronic Grant Application Tracking Information System (eGrATIS)

eGrATIS is Leidos's complete grant application program management solution that provides greater accountability and transparency during the grants management process for our public health customers. The secure, web-based system supports the process, from application through post-award, and features many valuable application review tools and mid/end-of-year progress reports.

eGrATIS fosters improved grant tracking and monitoring by integrating performance reporting and financial management tools. The application also helps speed the grant review and approval process by automating grantee application, reviewer, and program management tools and awardee communication activities. eGrATIS enables program managers to quickly query their data to answer questions from outside stakeholders and awardees that were not possible to answer prior to the implementation of the system. Post-award management features allow awardees to request changes to their budgets and work plans, and project officers to review and monitor activities. eGrATIS also links objectives and activities to budget for accountability and performance measures. The application supports detailed linkage between grants activity and spending by linking program activity and budget line items at the very lowest level. The application captures and tracks financial and programmatic data and the relationships between them.

eGrATIS facilitates enhanced analysis of grant outcomes and effectiveness. The application supports multiple grants, programs, and multi-leveled organizational hierarchy, and maintains a complete history to build long-term organizational memory. eGrATIS also enhances compliance with federal grants reporting requirements. The application prevents transactional details from getting lost in summarized, aggregated reporting data resulting in improved compliance. The application also supports greater consistency in reporting through data validation checks and enforcement of programmatic business rules; this can significantly reduce the number of incomplete and/or erroneous applications.
